This square clock, which can be hung or placed on a desk, is inspired by the square Gresham clocks of the early Showa period.

"Gresham" is a general term for clocks with a square box containing the mechanism mounted on the back of the clock frame. In an era when round clocks were more common, these square Gresham clocks were very rare and highly sought after.

By combining the design of the original Gresham clocks with brass molding that develops a patina over time, we have created a clock with a more retro and atmospheric feel.

The dial, characterized by a matte black line border, is a retro model reminiscent of the early Showa period.

The wooden dial evokes a simple and gentle atmosphere of a home from that era.

The use of natural wood veneer on the sides gives it a more luxurious finish.

It can be hung or placed on a desk, and uses a silent sweeping movement, so it can be used anywhere.
