The Groovy Gourmet series feature a three-eighths inch pro?le in a solid natural surface color or with a natural surface color and a slate core. Equipped for convenience with a groovy juice groove on one side and a ?at food prep surface on the other, this is an everyday surface for difficult recipes or more common fare. The slightly heavier weight of this surface feels good under the knife but it can still be handled, cleaned, and stored easily.

The juice run can be used next to under-mount sinks to let the juice drain handily into the sink. Because the two parts of the surface are independent and two-sided, you can put them together in a variety of configurations to fit your specific food preparation needs. Each piece can also be used efficiently alone. The Modular Series is ideal for foodie’s who expect a commercial grade from the products they utilize in their well appointed kitchen.

The Epicurean Carving Series is designed speci?cally for carving roasts and fowl. A unique diamond studded surface holds the meat in place while you are cutting. An inner juice trough will contain much of the juice and an outer juice groove will prevent the rest from reaching your countertop. This surface is designed specically to most dishwashers to make that big clean-up a little bit easier. The Carving Series is just the thing for slicing Thanksgiving turkey or a large holiday roast.

The Big Block Series contains our heftiest designs, excellent for the hard-core chef. These cutting boards are 1 inch thick, which is just enough to bring some counters up to an easier level for food preparation. They have a juice groove around the edge to keep any liquids off the counter or floor. If you find your cutting boards or chopping block top getting worn down very quickly, this is the board for you. You won’t have to worry about splitting or rotting with long term use like you do with wood cutting boards – and as soon as it gets too roughed up for your taste (which will take longer than usual with this material), just sand it down, wash it off and you’ve got a brand new board!
